Archbishop Joseph Tobin
Religious Profession and Ordination
Jennifer is a Catholic widowed mother. On May 11, 2013 at age 24, she married the love of her life, Nathan Trapuzzano. They spent the next ten months navigating their new life in Indianapolis together. Three months into marriage, they found out they were expecting their first child, a child that Nathan would never get to meet. Three weeks before Cecilia was born, he was shot and murdered two blocks from their home while out on a morning walk. Even in his death, Nathan’s faith continues to be a witness to others and has brought countless people back to the church.
Since that day, Jennifer has taken steps to not only forgive but to pray daily for his murderer. She is passionate about sharing her faith and her journey through these trials to spread God’s message of mercy and love, a love so strong.
